This is a really good vampire film.
All well acted, and the practical and special effects are superb.
It's really good that Peter became a hero in the end.
The 80's were just superb. When people really put effort into films.
A recommended watch without a doubt.

Tom Holland wrote and directed two great 80s horrors, Fright Night and CHilds Play.
He also wrote Psycho 2 which has a pretty good story, and Class of 84

shareIf you don't already know, Child's Play is a banger and Psycho 2 is a very solid sequel to a film that never needed a sequel.
It fleshes out Normans character, adding lots of depth, and shows you around the Bates house a lot more. In terms of horror films, both very good compared to their contemporaries at the time and now.
Fun movie with a stellar soundtrack. As worthy of a cult following as The Lost Boys (another fun 80s vampire movie).
shareIt's a lot of fun with a very good cast (Roddy McDowall stands out for me). I remember when it first came out what an impression the fully transformed Amanda Bearse made on me with that grotesque mouth! Nightmare stuff!
