Mr. Underhill - World's Greatest Jerk

All these years later, whenever I see a guy acting like a jerk at a restaurant or in a store I think of Mr. Underhill.

Turns out, William Traylor was a serious dramatic actor who studied at the Actors Studio, so I'm guessing he put a lot of thought into creating such an infuriating character.

Kudos to Traylor for creating such a memorable jerk!

Food in Films: I'll have a Bloody Mary and a steak sandwich...and a steak sandwich.

World's *greatest* jerk? This is a big planet... Hmmm...

But Underhill was a tool and yes, a jerk. Excellent actor portrayal for sure.

When I was in college, I worked in a restaurant in a wealthy area and waited on guys like Mr. Underhill. Nearly all of them were terrible tippers. They sure wrote that part right.
