Not Interested, Never Was.

I'm not here to say that "I heard the hype over this from my friends for many years, etc & this just didn't live up to it" I'm saying I remember very well when this came out when I was a kid & I saw the commercials & I was just like "Nope! no way i'm seeing this. It aint for me"

Yeah I'm ok with Chase, I mildly like "Vacation/Christmas Vacation" those are doable I guess, but I'm just not among the "Fletch" worshippers such as you all. Always thought the commercials were dumb "Hi! I'm Don Corelone" Picture me with my eyes rolling.

Chase is ok in certain things, believe it or not I liked him in "Foul Play" with Goldie Hawn. But "Fletch" just doesn't live for me.

I hadn't seen most of his movies but I did really enjoy both the Fletch movies. They're solid funnily written mystery-comedies.

When he did the ball bearing routine he looked and sounded like one of my dad’s friends at the time.

reply

"it's all ball bearings these days!"

reply

To each his own, but this was one of the funniest movies ever made.

We're not interested, never were.

Ok. Thanks for the heads up...

I'm just wondering, how do you justify going around telling everyone about anything you're not interested in. Is this a legitimate conversation piece for you or do you just like to hear yourself talk? I can prattle on about things I have no interest in if it's what you're looking for.

We can start with whomever wins the Cy Young Award this year. I'm not much of a baseball fan at all. I know very little about the game. I really don't know who or why someone gets the Cy Young but I know it's something to do with baseball. Oddly enough, I've actually been to several MLB games. It's the only professional sport I've been to a game of even though I really have no more interest in it than any other professional sport.

Wow. That was fantastic.... just blabbering on about something I have no interest in. Very therapeutic, I guess.

Oh, I'd just like to throw in that I really do like a few movies about baseball. The Bad New Bears is probably 2nd in my "sports film" rankings. Field of Dreams and League of Their Own are pretty cool too. I don't know if I've ever seen any other baseball films. Maybe I have no interest in them but isn't that the point of this posting?

I’m not interested in anyone that isn’t interested in fletch
