I hate Remakes... but...

This one movie I think could be done right.
Its a far chance though. They are so seldomly better then the originals.
But this is one of my Top 10 favorite movies. Quaid nailed this role. The 2 Drak actors were amazing.

I usually don't think that stories should be retold...
But I think the message behind this story would get through to people of younger generations who haven't grown from bigotry and stereotyping.

Most teens would think the original dated and cheezy.
If they didn't change much and just updated the looks of things. Maybe Not narrated the end as much instead of showing Davidge and Zamis' return to the Home World.

stay away from CGI.
I Could Dig it.

I was just thinking the same thing. I think this movie should be remade although I have no problem with CGI.

A movie like this I could see failing or succeeding. It was originally a big failure and a troubled production though, so I suppose it's a decent candidate for remaking.

Since it was not a big success it probably won't happen, although it would be nice.
