"Silent and smooth, just like ALWAYS" makes no sense

Emphasis on the 'always' is mine.

Now, this movie is too cartoony, ridiculous, silly and stupid to take it seriously enough to write any kind of analytic comment, but some of these GLARING contradictions just have to be mentioned.

We can accept this statement when it's said, perhaps.

However, can you really watch this whole movie, thinking about Matrix's silence and smoothness-levels, and then come to the conclusion that this statement is even remotely accurate?

Since when during most of this movie, especially the last ten minutes or so, is this guy either 'silent' or 'smooth'?

He's as crude, direct, rough and violent as POSSIBLE.

Do I even have to mention the word 'loud'? What? Sorry, I didn't hear you, because this ALWAYS SILENT man was shooting rockets, triggering explosives, running around machinegunning people down EXTREMELY LOUDLY.

Now, if some kind of qualification had been used, it might've been fine, but this colonel, kernel (or whatever crunchy title he has) said 'just like always'.

If he's always silent and smooth, then there's nothing to compare it to, so then it becomes redundant to even say 'just like always'.

In any case, this could NOT be a bigger contradiction between what the script says and what the movie shows - even the 'only the Stormtroopers are this accurate' and 'All I am offering you is the truth, nothing more' pale in comparison to the audience being told that Matrix is ALWAYS SILENT AND SMOOTH.

He said 'always'. Why the fjord did he have to say 'always'?? WHY?? NO ONE can be silent ALWAYS, not even the best ninja in history!

What the heck were the writers (if they can be called such) smoking when writing this?

In any case, this statement makes ABSOLUTELY no sense, especially since they would've seen the whole area clearly from the helicopter, there were multiple trained men exiting the helicopter, the helicopter would still have made enough noise that no one (visually impossibly) sneaking upon them wouldn't HAVE to be silent in the least.. so it wouldn't have helped at all to be 'silent and smooth', when the whole scenario should've rendered any kind of 'sneaking behind anyone' on that OPEN PLAIN impossible anyway!

Sheesh, this is just a tiny, minor, forgettable detail in one of the most cartoony live-action movie I have ever seen, and it has this many layers of stupidity installed into it..

..let this be a marker as to how deep the stupidity goes in this particular 'movie', when even the tiniest, most insignifigant detail is this deep-fried with nonsensical ridiculous stupidity that you could write a book about it and not run out of things to say or point out.

Why can't anything in movies make any sense? Just ONCE, I would like to see a movie that has 30 consecutive minutes, where everything makes perfect sense. Just once..

BEWARE! Avortac4 is a troll trying to waste everyone's time with such idiotic comments. Look at his posts. He doesn't think anything in any film makes sense. His post may seem like it makes sense in the first sentence or two. But he always quickly wanders off into a completely idiotic idea, and then writes a wall of text that makes no sense. And his sole purpose is to waste your time, thinking he's cute for doing so. Don't feed the troll. If you write a comment, you're giving this troll EXACTLY what he wants. Don't comment after my comment.

Thats a good idea. Agreed

At least he's talking about the movie,
not bitching about the actors political views ,
or leering over female actors bodies,
or saying "When will hollywood stop doing remakes and be original" (sooo tedious!)
