of movies. how did this fit in with the plot of the movie. he was originally supposed to be one.

Are you saying this was his character in the original story treatment or early draft script, or something?

yeah i remember he was bootlegging in an early draft of the script. empire strikes back comes to mind.

Clearly an element of an early version is only going to fit the version it came from, not the current form.

Just like how the Delorean used to be a fridge.
