Hits you harder the older you get

I was barely ten when I first saw it. And time travel still fascinated me. But four decades later, nostalgia hits me even harder because now I do remember the good ole days that I wish I could travel back to. What I wouldn't give to revisit my home city in 1985 and to see all the shops that are no longer. Or to see neighbors who passed away. Nostalgia is a killer.

Sitting on your ass is a killer. Go outside and make this time memorable as well!

In lieu of a time machine, that's pretty good advice!

Nostalgia aint what it used to be 🤣

I'm still gonna love you.

Coincidentally I've been experiencing this myself lately with my old neighborhood and thought of this trilogy all the while. It's a bittersweet feeling to say the least.

If you like Time Travel movies, I can recommend The Time Traveler's Wife, Another Time, Safety not Guaranteed, About Time, or an oldie-but-goodie Somewhere in Time.

I particularly like The Time Traveler's Wife. Great story (from a book), and Rachel McAdams is beautiful. But nothing compares to Margo Robbie, in a supporting role in About Time. She is just drop-dead gorgeous. Ironically, Rachel McAdams is in this one too. She doesn't travel in either movie, but has partners that do.

You might enjoy Francis Coppola 's 'Peggy Sue Got Married', made a year after 'Back To The Future' and featuring time travel as well.

Peggy Sue is another excellent movie. Especially now that my parents are old.
