Do you think that Rick Moranis was miscast?
Some people seem to think that Rick Moranis was miscast in his role as Billy Fish.
I thought that Rick did a great job of playing the stereotypical annoying nerd.
What do you think?
I like Rick Moranis' role in this film; like Albert Siebener said, he was playing against type. Was he really a tough guy? No, no one would believe that exactly, but as Ellen Aim's manager, someone who is guiding her career? Totally, so he has to be firm, even if he isn't the prototype for tough, so Ellen Aim gets a fair shake and he's taken seriously as her manager. Maybe Ellen's heart belongs to Tom Cody, but her career is in the hands of Billy Fish. i believe it.
