Remake

I am thinking that this movie might be ripe for a remake. I can see with some good marketing and some decent money spent behind it, a remake could make some decent money. I am thinking Piper Perabo for Madisons role, i kind of feel she has the right amount of acting prowess and looks the right age.

Hell no to a remake. Why? What is the point. To me, a remake is not even a movie, it is just a, well, a remake. We know the story already.

No need for a remake and laterly Hollywood f*@ked up most of remakes so far.

They've been remaking films ever since they started making films and they will continue to do so. Some remakes are cool and others suck, same goes for new and original movies, some of those suck too. They'll one day remake Star Wars or Jaws or Indiana Jones and other big blockbusters. That's just the way it is.

I can't imagine why they would do that? I hate remakes, why do that when all you have to do is see the original.

Plus the 2006 movie Aquamarine is pretty much how a remake would be. Not that I watched it.

If they remake this, I will boycott it. I am so tired of them remaking what were already great movies. Ghostbusters is the most recent terrible remake.

I totally disagree. The movie is great, there is no need for a remake.

All the remakes I ever watched (Nightmare on Elm Street, Robocop, Ghostbusters) were awful, a very pale version of the original, a complete waste of time and money. I decided not to watch any more remakes.

I can't understand that remake fever. It's like a viral disease.

Remake only terrible or poor or obscure movies, don't remake great films or classics.

GBs, Elm Street and Robocop were poor
