I have no idea why, but this exchange between otto and Leila always cracked me up.
"Nice Friends Otto."
"Thanks, I made them myself."
The whole "John Wayne was a fag" exchange.
Also when Miller goes through his whole plate of shrimp monologue and Otto just says "Did you do a lot of acid Miller? In the hippy days?"
Unless Alpert's covered in bacon grease, I don't think Hugo can track anything.
One that has always stuck with me? Is 'Theres One In Every Car' when talking about those tree air fresheners!!
That and 'The Life Of A Repo Man Is Always Intense'
:)
"Forget acting. It's all about rock 'n' roll."
Brendan Fraser
Yeah, that one just slayed me, still does, I was trying to remember how that went exactly, thanks.
Everyone gets everything he wants.
lite: you like music?
otto: yeah
lite: well in that case, you're gonna LOVE this!
i always thought that was funny because he didn't specify what type of music, just that he would love it.
also when the circle jerks are playing in the club: "zippity doo bop say what?"
I love that one too. Kind of captures Lite's naive arrogance.

You have to wonder about people who are still quoting a movie from 30 years ago...
"I don't want any Commies in my car. No Christians, either."
Some of my favorites...
Miller: The life of a repo man is always intense.
Leila: Charming friends you got there, Otto.
Otto: Thanks, I made 'em myself.
Bud: Hey, kid. Wanna make ten bucks?
Otto: *beep* you, queer!
Otto: I ain't gonna be no repo man. No way.
Marlene: It's too late. [hands Otto some cash] You already are.
Leila: What about our relationship?
Otto: What?
Leila: Our relationship!
Otto: Fxck that
Leila: You sh/thead! I'm glad I tortured you.
Yup, there's plenty of great lines in this classic.
They really are rude to Americans! - Al Bundy on the French
Otto's burnout Hippie (?) parents! He comes home and there's nothing to eat except a couple cans of generic "FOOD". He opens one.
Mom: Put it on a plate, son. It'll taste better.
Otto: (Eating brown mush out of the can) No, It tastes great, Mom. Mm-MM! Couldn't be better.
And The scientist's chit-chat about radiation.
"You hear the most pernicious lies. Everybody could stand a hundred chest X-rays a year...and they should have them, too."
--or lobotomies.
Otto: Aren't those for loonies?
Scientist: Not at ALL. Friend of mine had one--inventor of the Neutron Bomb.
She deserves her revenge, and we deserve to die.
My old lady? Ah sh!# I forgot all about her!
Well... she'll take the bus, she's a rock.
-"But you know what's on my mind right now? It AIN'T the coffee in my kitchen..."
