Has anyone actually had a nightmare with Freddy in it?

Jason - Yes. I was in the campground where they filmed some of the outdoor scenes. After hearing the stories, a few of the Scouts kept waking up during the night

I have a feeling I once had a dream with Freddy in, but it wasn't anything scary. He just sort of cameoed.

I think it was just dreaming about something else, and whilst whatever it was was going on, Freddy just sort of walked past me. Not even sure he acknowledged me.

As a kid after I watched it at a slumber party, I had them nonstop for over a month. I don't remember much detail just I'd wake up in a cold sweat and couldn't breathe. I was likely having panic attacks because of it. I'd have to go to my parents room or climb in bed with my sister.

I have an odd one as an adult that is kinda reoccurring. It's often the same and it's very real but I guess not very scary. In the dream, it's like I'm being forced to watch Nightmare On Elm Street which is odd because I love it and no one would have to force me. But, in the dream, I don't want to watch it and keep saying it will give me nightmares, but I can't turn off the tv and I can't stop myself from seeing & hearing the movie. I'm also very scared in the dream which again is odd because I stopped being frightened by Freddy over 30yrs ago. But, I'm terrified in the dream and determined to not watch the movie yet I have no power to stop the movie from playing. I keep telling myself in the dream I'm going to dream about Freddy and that scares me. It's a very odd dream.
