did anyone see this in the theaters?
I vividly remember seeing it there.but I remember it being in 3D !?!?!does anybody else remember this at all?!?

I remember that day very well. My parents were going to take us to see Ice Pirates, we were getting ready to go out the door and somehow... I got gum stuck in my hair. Not kidding. It took us so long to get it out that we had to see a different movie instead. We saw Splash instead and to this day it's still one of my favorite movies. Ice Pirates is great, but Splash is a real film.

This one of the first movies I watched in a theatre as a kid(along with E.T.) with a friend and his dad. I remember the entire theatre just laughing our asses off. Fun campy movie that still funny to this day. It wasn't in 3D when we watched it.
shareI saw it in theaters. I must have only been around nine at the time. I went with my Mom and my best freind. Can't say I have any special memories of the night, but I still think about how cool I thought it was to see it on the big screen. A movie this cheap would never make it to theaters nowadays. They go straight to the Sci Fi cahnnel and they usually have no heart like this movie has.

Yes, I did, but this pre-dated the current crop of 3d flicks. 3D had been out of favor when this was in the theatres.
