Do you genuinely like this song on its own merits?
I think I only like it because of its association with the movie and all the nostalgia that comes with it. On its own, I think the song is kind of bad. Even as a child in the 80s, it felt like it was a novelty, almost a joke to me. But I always hear people talk about how much they love the song🤷♂️
