My favorite line from the movie

At one point in the film the two Men In Black/Intergalactic Bounty Hunters enter the bar in Harlem looking for the Brother From Another Planet. Having learned English as a second language and trying to fit in Human culture, they order beer. never mind the fact they speak in a strange monotone, dress inappropriately, have the weirdest body language ever, and are the only white guys in the bar, they try to blend in: One of them pointedly says to the bartender pouring his beer:"Make mine on the rocks."

Wonderful

My favorite line is the part when the two white guys leave the bar, then the guy on the stool says to the brother. something like..."there were some guys in here earlier looking for you, and they were even stranger then these two" (motions to empty seats where white guys were sitting) I laugh so hard at that part. I also think the part with the hooker with the broken shoe is hillarious, and the card trick "Im tired of going out, i dont want to go out anymore" love that line.

The lady at social services who says her line (referring to someone she considers "nasty") and the line ends with "...do he WASH"?
The guy at the desk looked like he was trying not to laugh.

I think the best part of the whole film for me was his first visit to the bar. The ensemble dialog throughout that was just incredible. The timing. The feeling of good vibes. Everything.

And I noticed through the whole film that they didn't go for the obvious, easy jokes they could have given the premise. They continually surprised me.

I must admit though, I got lost at the ending.

The white lady he was staying with kept asking him his first night at her home: "Do you eat pork?"

Two white tourists accidentally walk into Harlem "We're lost in Harlem..."

Regular bar patron: "They say is won't belong before those satellites the sent up gonna start crashing back to earth -- there insides wear out..."

Same regular bar patron: "You know what on those satellites that come crashing down? Diseases -- diseases we don't even have a name fo' "

Another regular bar patron after two space aliens come to bar looking for the "Brother": "White people keep getting stranger all the time!"

Jazz singer after having sex with the "Brother": You where really good, but you need to do something about those toenails!"

I know I will think of more and will add them later. This movie is full of great one liners...

Yup, chock-full of great lines. I think my favorite is from Little Earl's grammaw (after her daughter-in-law tells her the TV "fixed itself"): "Girl, don't nuthin' in this world fix itself."

Ain't that the truth. Nothing fixes itself. That's for sure!

Card sharp: Now, watch me make all the white folks disappear!

Right. But I don't understand why "do you eat pork?" would be notable. Weren't there Muslims in the film who don't eat pork?
