Coziest episode?

I love this show. I have great memories of watching it with my late parents when I was younger, and I'm glad it's on Netflix. Some episodes are so familiar, it's like visiting with an old friend. Which episodes do you consider to be the "coziest" or best to curl up and watch on a rainy day?

In addition to the Cabot Cove episodes, I would add the ones with Grady to my list. No bookend episodes would make it on my list, and very few from the last couple seasons. I am not sure if it was because the crimes took place much later than they did in the earlier seasons or what. Something is different but I can't exactly put my finger on it. I know I watched the entire series as I was growing up - I was 12 when it premiered, but I know I never missed an episode!

Could be the rampant political correctness displayed in the latter episodes, just a thought.

Definitely Crossed Up and Murder Takes the Bus. My two favorites.

I agree with all those already listed, here are a few more that I enjoy watching again and again.

Joshua Peabody Died Here... Possibly - I love how Amos goes on about the elusive Joshua Peabody, and I enjoyed seeing Chuck Conners again, he aged well.

Keep the Home Fries Burning - Peabody again.

One Good Bid Deserves a Murder - This one isn't a Cabot Cove one, but I love the Harry McGraw character, they work great together. He plays the part well of a slightly shady PI but overall good guy.

If a Body Meet a Body - Not even a funeral goes as planned in Cabot Cove.

Night of the Headless Horseman - Not a Cabot Cove episode, but still a good cozy one fit for Halloween.

No Laughing Murder - I like how Jessica helps out the young greenhorn deputy without belittling him.

Who Threw the Barbiturates in Mrs. Fletcher's Chowder - Doc is right, a visit from Amos's family explains a lot about him.

The Sins of Castle Cove - Love this one on so many levels, the butcher's mother alone makes it worth watching.

Incident in Lot #7 - I loved seeing the Psycho house in this one, it is as much of a character as the actors, and be sure to notice the nod to the late great Hitchcock at the beginning when they play the theme music.

I usually like the secluded mansion murders the most, the snowed in kind, the houseful of suspects. Also love lavish hotels, cruises, etc. Those are the coziest for me. "Snow White, Blood Red," "My Johnny Lies Over the Ocean," "Doom With a View," "A Very Good Year for Murder," "Stage Struck," "The Corpse Flew First Class," "Widow, Weep for Me," "School for Scandal," "A Lady in the Lake," "Footnote to Murder," "Alma Murder," "Something Borrowed, Someone Blue," "The Monte Carlo Murders," the ones with Brenda Vaccaro, and my favorite: Who Killed JB Fletcher?

The Cabot Cove ones are very cozy, and I really like them, especially with Seth. They're just not my favorite. I prefer them to the New York ones.
