Nannie
Did they never create a face and upper body for Nannie? Is there a sketch or something...haha....that was lost, maybe? I've always wanted to know what she really looked like.

Indeed, Nannie used to scare the crap out of me when I was a kid. I can't remember if it was a nightmare or a daydream when I saw the camera quickly pan up Nannie's long, stocking-covered legs to reveal a hideous looking face. Maybe that actually did happen in the series and it was thrown in to traumatize an entire generation of children.
shareyeah i know! i got so frustrated by that.
When life hands you lemons ask for tequila and salt.
fitting really, at least now you can project Barbera Billingsy's face onto Nanny.
shareI remember when I was little and there was a live action play coming to town, and they had a prop Nanny that was like 10 feet tall and nothing but stocking feet!!
sharethey never showed her face but there was one episode where they went up into the attic and saw a picture of her as a REALLY little girl and i think u saw her face. although... i was REALLY little as well and i forget.

They weren't suppose to show her face. This was the world through the babies' eyes.

I got the impression they showed her face in a comic. And they did show her wearing a motorbike helmet.
shareYeah, I'll bet Nanny was hot.
Anyway, found this on another forum.
