I would just like to point out that the lossy audio compression in YouTube videos makes CD/digital vs. vinyl comparisons meaningless.

Absolutely true

However the vinyl aficionado in the link seems to have some kind of $9.99 child's record player that cant even keep rotating at a constant speed ! So no vinyl will ever sound less than horrific on it!
