A special film
There's a specific anticipation one holds before watching older films for the first time, and this particular movie, almost forgotten today, comes with a strong reputation. So I expected a good film, perhaps a bit dated.
But, what I encountered was nothing short of a masterpiece. Elegantly capturing moments of beauty in the midst of addressing the darkest subject matter of nuclear war. The film comes at you with an unsettling eeriness.
While I won't delve into every aspect that left an impression on me, such as the remarkable acting, I must say that this film is undeniably something special.
