Did anyone else notice something weird about this movie?

Like the complete absense of opening credits or a title card?

I actually liked the movie though. It was really entertaining for a Franco film.

Or the somewhat odd sound mix. Dialog on the left only.
Or the often absurd editing.
Or, and this goes beyond absurd editing, the sequence where the woman goes for a swim, is "attacked" by crocodile stock footage and is saved by the men shooting the croc... This sequence plays out without dialog and with no sound effects, even for gunshots... Then after a brief muddle the same sequence plays again with the woman seeming to undress and reenter the water in order to be menaced by the same stock footage of a crocodile which is then shot, this time with cries for help, splashing, gunshots etc.
Or any number of absurdities. - It is fun to watch but really a terrible movie.

The weirdest thing I noticed was the guy with the fedora hat and scarf that shot the native off the raft. The skin on his upper cheek bones was so wrinkled or sunburnt that it looked like it was bleeding. Really weird.

Looks to be like that throughout the movie.

I barely remember this one, but I gave it a 5/10 at IMDB, so I wasn't too high on it.

It’s entertaining enough, mostly because of the cast of early 80s Franco regulars. Lina Romay had a small role, this time all made up as an old lady. It’s a jungle romp with horrible dubbing, frequent stock footage and not the best story.

5/10 is fair, but I can see myself giving it a rewatch at some point.

I agree! How crazy that this no budget film nobody has ever seen is slightly weird.

Imagine that!

Saw this years ago.

Didn’t realize the great Franco directed it.

That explains him including a naked 16yo Katja Bienert.
