If Scorsese directed....
I wonder how the movie would’ve turned out... especially the suspense scenes
What do you think?

What do you think?
perhaps more suspenseful...and, could this movie be more bloody?
shareReally??... I reckon it would have been in the same vein as mean streets & goodfellas
The suspenseful scenes would have been scored with rock music and much shorter & straight to the point
Scorsese’s version would’ve had no incidental music for sure... and the editing would’ve been choppy & quick.. as for violence, I reckon more bloody!
It wouldn’t have been as cheesy.
shareit would have been more cheesy. he makes good gangster movies but i am glad he didnt make this one
shareDePalma is one of the cheesiest directors ever.
Go watch the Untouchables. It’s painful.
i saw a scene of that movie when deniro is saying they gotta kill some guys family and dog and stuff. idk why they cast robert deniro as Al Capone that was not a good move. it should have been a fat guy deniro is decent actor but felt so out of place in the role it ruined the movie imo i havent seen the whole thing those just a scene or two
If Scorsese had directed, I think it would have be even closer to the original movie, Pacino would have had the name Tony Camonte and played an Italian American with the movie set in the 1930s.
Reason being Scorsese is a film buff and fan of the original, I think he’d of liked to of kept the name Camonte and the Italian American Gangsters.
Cohen brothers are making a remake now.
shareThe line, "Say hello to my little friend!" would not have been in the movie.
shareI probably wouldn't be able to finish it. I barely did Goodfellas. Scorsese's gangster movies are soooo overrated.
