Not sure if everyone is aware of this chap and his work in attempting to give us improved Star Wars without some of the Special Edition crap but this doesn't look too good:-

In short:- Heart attack earlier in the year. Back at it in September. But with a last update from them saying "I’ll be posting again in the next couple of days with more detailed plans of what’s coming up...". But subsequently nothing further.

I prefer Adywan over Despecialized

I've never been able to get my hands on Despecialized. Last time I tried, I think I had to join some community or other and wait for an invite or something...

Adywan, I stumbled across a few weeks ago and it was just a case of downloading in parts and combining.

Anyway, I really liked his versions of ANH and ESB and was really pleased to see in his ROTJ notes that he intended to restore Yub Nub and the original force ghosts.

I've been a fan of their work since forever and actually just read through the Sep update yesterday!

I had wondered also if something had happened but, given the length of time things are taking, I'm guessing it's just taking them longer to bring us something good to share.

Maybe / hopefully. My worry is that comment that he was going to post in a couple of days with plans.

A few people have asked on the original trilogy board as well if he's okay, so hopefully he'll reply soon...
