This was a time when 50 year-old actresses looked 70. Now, it's the opposite.

Also, for whatever reason, Vera Miles's face aged rather quickly and severely. Her Psycho co-star, Janet Leigh, kept her features and beauty for a longer time, it seemed.

It was the atrocious wig that aged her. Imagine if she had beautiful, long hair that is in the style of today. She definitely wouldn't have looked so old.
