For me there’s no doubt; Barbara Carrera provides the most deliciously beautiful, unabashedly sexual and coldly evil villainess in the entire Bond canon. Carrera’s Fatima Blush is absolutely perfect.
Her arrogance never faltered and I never doubted for a minute that she could carry out any murder under any circumstances.
Blush’s ego, pushing her to elevate her own standing by both killing and having Bond reduce himself as the great lover in all of spydom was absolutely hilarious.
I’ll have to watch this again soon to search for telling details that may add to my enjoyment of the film.
Oddly, in terms of Bond films, despite such stunning characters, Never Say Never Again is among the least presented.
Your thinking is untidy, like most so-called thinking today.” (Murder, My Sweet)
