Appart from the occasional funny bit this film was absolutly terible. I just attended a Phython tripple bill at my local cinema. This was shown last and many people left even before this film began. I can see why now.
Why were the Phythons alowed to film this awfull script. The thing that made Grail and Brian so fantastic was the main character holding the film together. Someone should have noticed that the script was rubish and made them write a better one
what the... it's just one and a half hour of profanity and just because it's silly doesn't mean it's funny, some parts are also disgusting, like the guy throwing up having dinner, i've caught pieces of monty python all my life and never understood its greatness, i don't know if you have to be british to appreciate it, some explain monty python as a ton of sketches with a few funny ones, like "saturday night live" i suppose, and at the same time john cleese made one of the funniest series ever, "fawlty towers", same thing with eric idle, i like him in other things, but i just don't get monty python, speaking of other things, the leg bit (by the way, a man losing his leg, another thing suppose to be funny?) reminded of eric idle in national lampoons european vacation (1985), "honestly, it's just a leg, i've got another one", now that was funny, but this... all i kept thinking was, what a piece of crap. i mean it's just nonsense. i agree with other topics on this board how men dressing up as women is not funny and how this movie is depressing than anything else.
