Loved it. Tangerine Dream makes the most moody, atmospheric tracks, that really inject a sense of mystery and haunted energy into the films,
Their work is very unique.

I liked parts of it. Though I love Tangerine Dream, I just couldn't get into the happier bits.

I'm not a big fan of TD or their film scores but the music here is magical
I just recently rewatched THE KEEP and while both the music and visuals perhaps belong in a different film some scenes such as Molesar's initial appearence where he saves Eva or Cruza's ascent through the Keep are very well complimented by the film's score . In fact it's a bit like LORD OF THE RINGS on acid and one wonders how Tolkien's trilogy might have looked if Michael Mann had directed ?
Of course THE KEEP is a totally bonkers movie and half the time I didn't know what was going on
It's probably the best part of the film, which is otherwise no more than a fascinating mess. I love the use of music in Mann's first three films; he's not afraid to use stuff that's tonally "inappropriate" or stuff with a "happy" major-key sound opposite ostensibly dark scenes, and it generates some interesting affects.
