On a scale of 0-10 how did you like this movie?

It is perfect and i agree with you, the holiday season is not complete without a few viewings of this gem

I'd give it a 6 or a 7. I think I was late to the party and only watched it because it was literally on a marathon, so if you see the same thing running all day, it's going to get your curiosity. I like McGavin and Dillon, and I like the gentle nostalgia of a less cynical and materialistic time. Plus it's genuinely humorous without out a bunch of stupid gags. That McGavin really need to have that crazy lamp is funny, and Dillon having to make the best of it is also funny. The wives in Everybody Loves the King of Queens would raise holy heck. But I don't like the voice over, and it's a bit cloying and I don't really warm up to Ralphie, but I'd watch it again if I run into it at the right time.

9/10. It was a pleasant blast from the past.

It’s a great flick. It is Christmas. Just gets it at the perfect time in history.
