Did Mama ever make you mad?

I love Mama's Family, and Thelma is my favorite character but sometimes Mama really made me upset with her behavior. For example when Vint and Naomi wanted to adopt a child and they had to visit the shrink. Mama totally ruined their chances of adoption by making the session all about her. It WAS hilarious though, found myself laughing out loud but if I was either Vint or Naomi I would have been thoroughly upset with Mama. Which is probably why in that episode Vint grew balls temporarily and threatened to move out.

Were there any other times during the series run when Mama just got under your skin?

The only times she pissed me off was when:
She favored Ellen.
Let Sonya take over Fran's office without her permission.
She wanted Fran to give up her room for when Naomi thought she was pregnant.

Naomi and Vint weren't even paying rent! There's no way in hell I'd let them have my room.

In "No Room At The Inn" when she shows up at Vint and Naomi's motel and just expects them to interrupt their anniversary to accommodate her and take her home.

In "Harper Versus Harper" when she first throws away the breakfast that Naomi's just made Vint, slams Naomi's vacuum around saying she knows how to work it, and then all through the court proceedings kept interrupting the judge.

I have the whole series on dvd and decided to binge watch it and I said the same thing during this episode. She could have sucked it up for a night and let them enjoy their anniversary but instead was very selfish and not only ruined their night but I'm sure she cause more of a fuss once she got home with all the girls that were all over the house.

I must have been the only one who was a bit against Naomi and Vint having a kid. Neither of them are competent and neither make enough to support themselves in their own home.

I also have a theory... if the man upstairs is hindering your chances to have a kid... take the hint.

Oh God. Fortune vomits on my eiderdown once more.
