Very dull red uniforms on 4K transfer

I remember the uniforms being so deep and saturated in the past.

Watching Wrath of Khan on 4K has all the uniforms so dark and dull. Like they did a bad colour correction or something.

By comparison, The Force Awakens has very vivid colours throughout.

Most of the restoration work today adds totally unnecessary enhancements to the movies. Go watch older DVDs/Blurays and compare them with today releases.

You'll find so many weird changes using new-age color-grading techs and photo-enhancements.
