Lol at Mickey.
Love this character but sometimes he needs to get knocked on his ass for saying "you're a disgrace to this sport"? Disgrace why? Because he's not some pushover fighter who plays to the crowd? Clubber was a champion.

"According to some people", during the training montage Hearts On Fire you see Drago take a steroid injection. I don't think Mickey was horrible to Rocky, he did teach him some speed (chasing a chicken) and pushed him to the max and yes he did say some hurtful things but it was nothing more than tough love. In the first movie Rocky deserved to be schooled and Mick was just giving him the facts like when he told Rock "you had the talent to become a good fighter but instead a leg breaker to some cheap second-rate loanshark, it's a waste of life." Mickey's hostility was justified in the first movie, he was a good father figure who was disappointed the the choices that Rocky made which weren't good, Rocky needed a good smack.

Because he hits fighters when they are already down (as seen in the opening montage), plus, disorderly conduct in public and a propensity toward hitting on married women.
