Could Apollo in his prime have beaten Clubber?

I would think so. Clubber's style was a lot like Mike Tyson's was in his prime--he relied on the quick KO to win fights early but grew more and more vulnerable with each round. The way to beat him was to stay away from him in the early rounds then come after him later when he began to tire out. Apollo proved in both of his fights with Rocky that he was durable enough to last the distance with any fighter so as long as Apollo could have avoided getting knocked out early he would have easily beaten Clubber.

Possibly the first match, because Apollo was getting to comfortable, and would not have taken clubber for what he is worth, but the rematch, Apollo would have won in the 8th round, why 8th, because that number just popped in my head, but with his heart into it, Apollo would have taken any Opponents in Rocky including Drago.
