Which camp are you in about Farrow's rendition of "Now that I'm a Woman..."?
A. Farrow's fragile singing beautifully conveys the great sad vulnerability of the Unicorn's all-too-mortal form.
B. Farrow's singing makes ears bleed! Mia, just because you were once Ol' Blue Eyes' wife doesn't mean you have a voice to launch records. In other words, don't quit your day job.
I'm leaning towards A. But it's clear that she's not the greatest singer. I think a different singing voice but with the same fragile touch would have been better.

I go with B. I like the vocal track on the soundtrack much better and think it should have been used in the film.

While I agree that the flawed voice actually added to the character's sorrow for the film...I must say B in general!
Thank God they didn't use Mia's version for the soundtrack!

I think Mia's voice is very lovely. I was very pissed off when I bought the soundtrack and it wasn't Mia's voice singing "Now that I am a Woman" In fact I think Mia sang "Now that I am a Woman" much better than the person who sang it on the soundtrack.

I choose option A. I think that the fact her voice isn't singer material gives the scene a unique vibe. I love how fragile and imperfect her singing is and I prefer it over the second version of the song. It has more emotion to it.

Both she and Jeff Bridges cannot sing. The studio tried to do some magic with it by adding echoes and other stuff, but it doesnt work. This is before animated movies realized its ok to have a speaking voice and someone else for the singing part!

A. I actually really liked her singing voice! I saw the movie on Netflix and hated the version with the echoes, but when I heard the unchanged version I fell in love with it. Perhaps it's a personal taste thing, some hate it, some love it.
shareI'd describe it as kind of a shrill monotone, like she was just sort of droning on in a high voice. Mia can act, but she can't sing.
