The American TV version has the extra footage, iirc. Something about padding out the runtime for commercials to fit into a 2 hour tv slot (First Blood is a short movie).
Cinema and Home video releases have never had the extra footage in them, just the deleted scene of Rambo getting laid in Saigon which you can only view as a special feature and not in the film.

shareYou're welcome. I remember being on vacation in the US when I saw First Blood on the tv in my hotel room and I was really surprised to see these new scenes. I think it's common for the tv edit to put new scenes in to just fit time slots. I think Jaws 2 had extra scenes of the helicopter pilot being attacked, lots of examples.
