How many liked "The Wild Life" that came after..
The unofficial sequel that came a couple of years later with Sean Penn's brother Chris? I thought that movie was funnier that this one. Phoebe Cates in a bikini can't be beat though.
shareI saw the trailers, but never saw the movie. I didn't even know it was an unofficial sequel. Were there any characters from the first one in this? I still think that Fast Times at Ridgemont High is one the best teen movies ever.
shareEric Stoltz and Nancy Wilson as different characters. The only connection is that Cameron Crowe wrote both stories. What I liked about the Wild life is that it focuses more on life after high school at an apartment complex but some of the story takes place in high school. It has some good performances from Eric Stoltz, Lea Thompson, Ian Mitchell-Smith and Randy Quaid, as well as Chris Penn. Ronnie Wood, Lee Ving, Nancy Wilson, Rick Moranis and Ben Stein make cameos in the movie. It's very funny. Also Eddie Van Halen provided some soundtrack instrumentals for the movie, including an early version of Right Now on keyboard.
