How did E.T. walk down the stairs when Elliott wasn't home?
So E.T. pretty much walks like a duck. How did his short legs walk down each step? I doubt he could jump high enough to slide down the railing.
shareI guess I'll take this one: You saw how he could raise and lower himself plus he could fly and climbed the ladder at the end so I don't think he had too much trouble with stairs.
shareI don't recall the ladder climbing, but yeah, he could fly with the bikes. I always assumed that because the bike thing was the first time we saw it (Late in the film) he could only do it under special circumstances.
