ET's story is much simpler.
I enjoy Close Encounters much more as an Adult than I do ET.

E.T. is such a special film for me. Close Encounters is good but there's no contest for me.

I couldn’t agree with this more! E.T. is my favourite film ever, it always has been and it always will be. I love Close Encounters but for me there is no comparison.

Close Encounters (director's cut without images from inside the mothership). E.T. is just the same concept, but for kids.
