Anyone else kinda creeped out by E.T.?

My parents rented this when I was a kid and I had nighmares about E.T. coming to get me.

Did you even pay attention to the movie?? You are aware right that he was a NICE alien and FRIENDLY and LOVING and CARING and never harmed anyone right?

You would judge someone just on how they LOOK? That is majorly shallow.

No, never. Granted, I saw film when I was 15, but I never once felt creeped out by E.T. He radiated nothing but warmth for me.

At 15 i would hope not.. You be too sheltered

The hate creeped. E out at 11years old but that was a horror..

You can really never predict what will frighten a child...for example costumed characters at Disneyland will be delightful to some, but a nightmare for others. There is no rhyme.or reason to it.

Indeed a lot of cartoons can frighten children.

My first memory of going to see a cartoon show in a cinema way back in the sixties terrified me...and of all things it was nothing to do with the cartoon. It was the lights shining on to the curtains before they opened, changing colour. Dont know what it was but it just scared me.
