Why doesn't Aughra know which shard belongs to the crystal?

Aughra has access to all of the hidden details of the land. She even supernaturally knows that Kira can fully communicate with animals. If Aughra is aware of how the crystal can be fixed and everything about The Great Conjunction, then why isn't she able to tell Jen which shard to use?

Oh! Thank you, TaraCicora. That explains Aughra's strange tone in the line. Does Jen have to prove that he is the one who has been sent to fulfill the prophecy, or simply that he is willing to take all steps to learn what he needs to? Are both applicable?
