Let me start off by saying that I love movies like this, ones where the average everyday person is the hero that brings down thugs. Anyway I still haven't seen this movie and I was wondering whether or not you people thought it was better than the Principal? Which by the way is another cool movie.
Its one of those movie's you put on and immediatly realize its a stone cold classic 10/10 movie. The next feeling you get is utter regret you hadn't found it earlier. Buy it and love it!
Just need to make sure its the right one because the guy told me that their is a certain version that I should really buy. I'm guessing it was some sort of special edition.
this is probobly my favorite movie of all time, much better than the Principal. i went out and bought it the first day they released it. i've loved it since high school and have probobly watched it at least 200 times.
i hear that. first time i saw it was about 3 or 4 years ago and seen it 100's of times since then but at 22 that means i was an 84 virgin for the majority of my life, very shameful.
I think both "The Principal" and "Class of 1984" are equally great films. However, I like "Class of 1984" just a tad bit more because it's so harsh and nasty.
"We're all part Shatner/And part James Dean/Part Warren Oates/And Steven McQueen"
The Principal is a good film of its type, very good even. Class of 1984, however, is a great one. If you have any interest at all in 'that kind of movie' then you owe it to yourself to check this one out. Definitely an 80's cult classic, and personally, one of my fave films.

I was hoping for a little bit of cold calculated revenge. I wanted to see Mr. Norris ambush these kids one by one over the course of a week or a month, just so that they'd know that they were dead men walking.
It was a little bit of a let down that he killed them each out of sudden rage and, in fact, most of the deaths were happy accidents rather than willful murder. Only the immolation was planned out.

This movie is one of my favourite movies now, i bought it before i ever seen it and loved it, this and Savage Streets are awesome 80's exploitation flicks
> spending too much time on his plans to kill them and wouldn't have been as good of a music teacher anymore.
Was he really that good of a music teacher? I never saw do much in that area. He got them to the level where they could perform a school concert, but any music teacher is required to do that.
