Blade Runner/Alien Shared Universe?
Does Blade Runner take place in the same universe as Alien, Total Recall, Soldier, and Minority Report?
shareIt takes place in the same Universe as Soldier, but not in the same Universe as the others. However, There was a TV series called Total Recall 2070 that is clearly set in a universe that borrows elements from both Blade Runner and Total Recall. The entire series is available on Youtube. it's worth watching. There was also a planned fan series called The Blade Runner Chronicles that was planned to be set in a combined Blade Runner and Alien universe. The trailer for that series is still on You tube. If you'd like to see it just type in The Blade Runner Chronicles on youtube. It's a shame it never materialized as I was looking forward to it.
sharePretty sure the garbage barges seen in Soldier when he is on the garbage planet are the same as in Las Vegas in Blade Runner 2049.
They really did a good job with listing the wars in Soldier to match up with the places in the speech from Blade Runner as well.
I still haven't seen Blade Runner 2049. It just seemed... I dunno, unnecessary. I've heard from many people that it wasn't bad, just, as I said earlier unnecessary.
Yeah, you're right about the garbage barges. I really liked soldier. It was kind of cheesy, but it was enjoyable cheese, and Kurt Russell was in it so that's a plus.
I believe that one of the wars that was listed in Soldier actually fit into the Original Star Trek universe too.
