Not much of a hero character when he chases a woman down a busy street and shooting her multiple times in the back.

He is not supposed to be a hero. Where did you get that from?

His job was to hunt down and kill replicants who had gone rogue. A Blade Runner. Hence the title.

And did you miss the fact that Zhora had just tried to kill him in the previous scene?

I get all of that yes but the optics of chasing a woman down the street and shooting her in the back never looks good.

In fact Decker only ends up killing the two women. The guys don’t die by his hand at all.

He didnt kill any women. He killed two replicants.
