Just watching the first episode for the first time ever

Blimey this is really something this show....

I have never watched it before, but always remember the opening credits with Shatner doing his forward roll, but it's even better than I thought...and it only cost me 10p on Amazon Prime.

A serial killer, 2 murders, a cat in the precinct, a Superintendent allergic to cats, exotic dancer dancing unexotically, Shatner teaching combat, women walking around the street in yoga pants...

And I'm only 20 minutes in...

Very entertaining, and really dumb :-D

I remember watching that first time round with my dad :) It's cheesy, but it is a lot of fun. Honestly, the LCPD (had to look that up!) would have been lost without Hooker!

Why? A typical cop tv show until Hill Street Blues changed the game.

Has Shatner hung off the hood of a speeding car yet?

SNL did a riff on this in one of his appearances.
