Question about "Craig in Love"

Just watched this one for the first time in a long while. Craig had an immediate attraction to the visiting Hungarian surgeon. It wasn't only because she was so attractive and charming. They also shared the same profession and had a meeting of the minds. Having someone on the same wavelength as you and sharing the same professional interests can be a powerful aphrodisiac.

Did the show leave the scene in her hotel room vague on purpose or are we to think they were intimate? Maybe I don't get subtlety!

But when the women calls to change their dinner reservation from 6:30 to 9:00, Dr. Craig looks slightly started (but happy). What were they going to do with all that time?

At any rate, he looked awfully guilty when he got home and found his wife had returned early. She thought the colleague that Mark had dinner with was a male surgeon and he didn't say anything to set her straight!

Mark Craig was one of my favorite characters and this was an interesting side of him, vulnerable and not being the haughty surgeon.

In season 3 he confesses to his wife he had an affair. He didn't really go into specifics, whether he did have sex with her or not.
