Cliff never came off as being gay. He just was a fool when it came to women and felt like no one woman was better than his mom and his mother was over-bearing. At least Cliff did actually have a woman....occasionally, but didn't work out. As for a beer drinker, he did drink but nothing like Norman, probably more so a beer or two just to fit in with the guys.

Cliffie had a drink as much as Norm. Norm drank more no doubt. And Cliffie had Maggie of course, as Aba suggested. Gay? Pfft!

It's people like you posting inane,irrelevant, silly opinions like this which is why these message boards are being terminated. I'm not sure why you thought your thread was worthy to be posted here rather than remaining what it was supposed to be, a brain fart.

I will miss what the forums used to be (back when I started posting in the early 00s) but I will NOT miss what it has become. It feels rather like kindly putting your much loved but very sick pet down.

I thought Cliff was great and he seemed like a beer drinker to me. I think the "Jeopardy" episode with Cliff may be my favorite episode of them all. I'm trying to remember all the categories..."Beer," "Bar Trivia, "The Postal Service," "Celibacy," et.al. 😀

I’ve worked with guys like Cliff they talk trivia and stories but there is little to them. He is a simple guy and not gay just not that into chasing women either.

Cliff would probably be into chasing women if he thought he had a chance. But he's a chunky middle-aged nerd in a mailman suit, who lives with his mom. He has little confidence.

Yes, he definitely likes women, probably has an extensive Playboy collection in some sort of filing system. The type of women he would chase if any would be ones who are still in the bar at closing time who haven't been picked up already. I agree, he has little confidence.
