1000 pieces. I wonder how long it would take to finish it?
It doesn't seem to have the exact same image of the model from the film, but per the outer box it contains 2 different 5"x7" color prints of the same model from the same 'filthy photo shoot'?
Right enough? Cool. Feel free to share pics when you get it. I hope it arrives in mint condition.
Are you actually gonna try complete it? It's 1000 pieces, that sounds like a lot of work and hassle. I imagine most people who buy it don't open it and keep it as a collectors item.
The company who made it make other puzzles of cult horror films, I see there are ones of Cannibal Holocaust, The Beyond, The Evil Dead, The New York Ripper, Phantasm, Maniac, Creepshow and so on. There is another one for Pieces too.
I'd say the one in the OP is the best of the lot though by a considerable distance as the puzzle plays a part in the film, it's not merely a puzzle of a known horror intellectual property.
I don’t know if you remember Damosuzuki from here on Movie Chat, but I sent him a link to this on EBay and he’s excited about getting one also. He no longer post here but is on LetterboxD.
I never talked to them on here, not sure how long ago they left but it may have been early into my MovieChat 'career'.
I know of them mostly from you liking their posts on Letterboxd.
I'm glad to hear that. If me posting this has meant two Pieces fans are to get a nice little collectors item they didn't know existed prior then that's great.
That's where she belongs, alongside some refreshing Nilbog Milk with Adreinne Barbeau, Clint Eastwood and Krug for good company. (I don't recognize that suave gentleman to her right but he's got one hell of a view).
The gentleman on the right is Ivan Rassimov on the set of “Vengeance Is a Dish Served Cold.”
I’d bet anything you have seen him before, as he was in lots of Italian exploitation films. I absolutely love the guy, and he was criminally underused as a star, but most often appeared as a villain. Check out his filmography:
