I felt so sorry for Kendall in the end. All through the movie you could tell he had a crush on Mary Riggs, especially when she yelled “Bastard” in front of him. Then he wanted to be a tough guy like the cops to win her love and actually stays with her when she’s drugged up, only to have his satchel ripped off right after! The dude just had bad luck.

He kind of reminds me of cousin Larry from the sitcom Perfect Strangers.

OMG thank you! The entire movie, I was like, this guy looks really familiar ... who does he remind me of? I looked him up to see if I knew any of his other movies but no ... but Cousin Larry - thats it!!

In the Joe Bob Briggs Last Drive In episode on this movie, he said there was supposed to be a love scene between the Kendall and Mary Riggs characters (presumably in the script), but then Lynda Day George refused to film it. So Kendall (and we the audience) was robbed!
