There are no better werewolf movies. I actually like horror movies when they are "slow" because they give time for us to get well acquainted with the characters and story. Horror movies that are all action packed the entire running time and don't give us time to get to know the characters have always bored me. If I don't know the characters, I won't care what happens to them. And if I don't care what happens to the characters, what's the point in watching the film? So I feel that's a very important thing this film does well. It also has a great atmosphere and a wonderful, interesting, well written story. This movie isn't terribly action packed because it doesn't need to be. It tells a great story and I think it's one of the best werewolf movies (if not the absolute best) ever made.
