Plus he had hair. But in this, he's back to being bald and having a neck brace a la OHMSS, post "branching off" scene...

Does this mean we shouldn't treat DAF as part of the Bond movie continuity? If so, that would be pretty amusing given that they only added the Blofeld stuff at the start to give the character some continuity...

I figure Blofeld is the Energizer Bunny of villains.

Besides, for me, Donald Pleasance was the best Blofeld. I think he had the best cat, too.

Audiences presumably preferred Pleasence or Savalas as Blofeld, which means portraying a bald guy. Plus, since the character in this film isn't explicitly mentioned as Blofeld, the baldness in addition to the cat makes it unambiguously clear who he's supposed to be.
