Let's me fair, nobody, not even the strongest warrior, could have been built like Ahnuld. But it's hard to imagine anybody else in the role.

But who else could have pulled it off?

The only actor I can think of is Lou Ferrigno, but that wouldn't have been very good.

If you think outside the box and shrink the character (without the audience knowing) there are probably lots...

But in 1982...what are you going to do?

I think CGI was first mainstreamed around that period. Wasn't it? Or an I wrong?

Either way...like I said it wouldn't have been very good.

It was a good choice.
