Great news. I love this film and will definitely be getting it on 4K.

Do the 4K players also play Blu-ray and DVD?

Yes 4K players are backwards compatible. They play 4K, Blu-Ray and DVD discs.

ONE OF THESE DAYS I WILL FIND A 4K PLAYER IN THE WILD FOR CHEAP...UNTIL THAT DAY...BLU-RAY IS PERFECT...THE BURNING IS AN EXCELLENT HORROR FILM THOUGH.

A while back I got a Blu-ray/DVD player that’s modified for all regions. It’s great for getting cheaper titles online that are in foreign formats. I wonder if 4K has different regions also.

YEAH...I HAVE A SONY MULTI REGION BLU RY PLAYER MYSELF...I NEVER CONSIDERED 4K AND REGIONS THOUGH...THAT'S A GOOD QUESTION.

You would hope they would do away with all of that as new formats evolve.

All 4K discs are region free!!

However your 4K player can be region bound and your region restrictions could apply for your Blu-ray and DVD discs on said player.

Pristine 4K. It's pretty much perfect. 😍

Fingers crossed the upcoming My Bloody Valentine 4K is as impressive, also makes me lament the fact the Friday the 13th 4K is so poor. 😭
