Should be regarded as one of the greatest film noir movies of all time

I have seen this movie more than 5 times and marvel at it each time. Not a wasted shot. Great music, acting and a terrific plot. I would rate this a 9/10. Wonder why it is not considered a classic along the lines of Chinatown (which I also love)?

I haven't seen that many noirs, and I haven't been a fan of them. But watching this masterpiece definitely makes me want to get back into the genre. It was sublime!
